IMG_0267.JPGFestival of the Arts

Balboa students, families, and friends participated in the Festival of the Arts.  Everyone had the opportunity to view the art show with the theme, "Imagine" and we saw many creative entries.  The chorus performed and they did a wonderful job.  Students participated in the many arts and crafts activities including, making bookmarks, cherry blossom paintings, balloon pets, paper bag hats, spin art, blow painting, fun with sidewalk chalk, 3-D hand art, and more!  Families had the chance to bid on a variety of events and goods at the Silent Auction.  A great day was had by all!  Click here to view more photos.

Festival of the Arts Show

IMG_0060.JPGStudents participated in the Festival of the Arts Show.  This year the theme was "Imagine" and students were encouraged to express their interpretation of the theme through several categories.  The categories included photography, literature, visual art, and 3-D.  The students did a fabulous job and we saw many creative interpretations of "Imagine".  The entire student body had the opportunity to visit the art show and take a gallery walk.  We were very impressed with what we saw!  Click here to view more photos.
