Guide Dog Day

Third Grade students have various opportunities to appreciate and experience what it is like to be blind during the Guide Dog Day.  One activity is to wear sunglasses that simulate different types of blindness.  Using harnesses for another activity, students are paired up to take turns acting as a guide dog and owner.  This is a memorable experience for students and they learn a lot.
