Learn to Type Resources

Students are encouraged to use a typing application to practice typing daily for about ten minutes. There are both fee-based and free web-based typing applications that students can use.

Scratch

Scratch is a programming language that helps students create their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art. Students working with Scratch develop 21st century learning skills, mathematical and computational ideas, and a deep understanding of the process of design.

MicroWorlds EX

MicroWorlds EX(c), is an application that helps students explore and test their ideas as they create science simulations, mathematical experiments, interactive multimedia stories, and anything they can only imagine. MicroWorlds is not free.
