Balboa Gifted Magnet’s teachers and staff are famous for their devotion to students and their unmatched creativity.  Most of the staff brings between 20 and 30 years of experience to the classroom and are carefully selected. Balboa Magnet has twenty-seven highly qualified and dedicated teachers, eight of whom have National Board Certification. Teachers attend workshops and gifted conferences on a yearly basis to increase their knowledge and competency in current methodologies and best practices in gifted education.  Balboa’s committed faculty and staff manages year after year to raise all of its students to a high level of academic achievement through collaborating as professional educators, providing a nurturing environment for children, and creating a strong culture of learning.
