Toledo, the southernmost district of Belize, has 1669 square miles of rain forest, mountains, rivers, and Maya Villages

Global Gardening

Recently a few of our classes participated in a special recycling project designed to replant trees.  The boys and girls in rooms 24, 25, 8, 30, and 23 collected recyclables for three weeks.  All of the items that were brought in amounted to $105.00.  As a result 105 indigenous trees will be replanted in the rain forest of Belize in Central America.  Next year the organizers of this event hope to expand the project to more classes.

Thank you to everyone who got involved in this year’s Global Gardening project.
